Two Stunning Women, One Blog Post- Yorktown Virginia Boudoir Photographer

Last week, I had the pleasure of shooting in The Studio Hampton Roads.  Let me just say, I wish the space were mine. It was beautiful and functional, I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you Somer and Katy for providing a much needed space like this!

CAUTION: Photo Heavy blog post!

So, I was joined in the Studio by two stunning Ladies.  One, We'll call her Miss B.,  is a Mamma of two boys, Navy wife and aspiring photographer herself. She was just a joy to shoot and I hope that she loves her images as much as I do.  Her soon to be deployed hubby is guaranteed to appreciate them!  I mean, how could he not?! Just look at her. ;)

I can't get over this image. Its just so PRETTY

YOWza!

Just GORGEous!

The second gorgeous Woman, Miss D,  she really just rocked it.  She is a Master Stylist, a Mom, and Wait for it... A Grandma (seriously please don't kill me Miss D). Yes folks, a Grandma.  I mean, can I  get a written statement from my future-self that I will still look as HOT as Miss D when I'm a Grandma ??? <--- Note to my Kids, no rush!  Without Further Adieu, Miss D!

Is it too cheesy to say VaVaVoom?

What an amazing smile!

Just Wow.
Contagious Personality :)

I'm so Thankful to be doing something I love so much. Every Boudoir session that I do, nothing makes me happier than hearing a Woman actually love a photo of herself :)  It's SUCH a good feeling.

Holiday Family Portrait Mini Sessions! - Yorktown, Hampton Roads, Virginia Photography

I stopped offering Family sessions a while back, but with the Holidays coming up I've been thinking a lot about my own Family portrait and how I should probably get moving to get that done. I figure most of you are probably in the same boat as I am. The S.S Procrastination.  If you're anything like me, you're thinking about the 10 million things you have to do in the next couple of months and how "Oh My Gosh, is it really November already?!", So I decided to offer some Family Mini's to help some people get one thing crossed off their list!  Get your time slot while you can :)

I'm Back

It's been a while since I've blogged.  In fact, this is the first blog post since I decided to restructure my business and offer only Boudoir.  It took a lot of soul searching and a little bit of guts to make the leap. So many people asked me if I would be losing out on potential clients.  The thought concerned me, truly, and I questioned my decision repeatedly.  Still, Ipressed on, because honestly I love it.  There really is just something about making a woman feel like a bombshell.  Lets face it, not many of us feel like that on a regular basis. So, sometimes, we need a little reassurance that we aren't invisible, average, frumpy, or boring. Sometimes we want to remind ourselves that we've still got it.  Remember that we still feel like beautiful, vibrant, sexy, amazing women.  If I can hep just one woman look at herself in a positive light, I'm a very happy girl.

My Last session was a couple months ago. I shot it for a friend while I was on vacation visiting family. I haven't been in business since we moved last year because I was really focusing on my family and all the changes we've faced since my Husband returned home from Afghanistan. And rightfully so.  This session with my friend really helped renew my passion for what I do and showed me that it simply fulfills a part of me that is important.  My family will certainly always come first, but I am reminded that an important part of being a great Mother and Wife is giving them all someone to look up to and admire. Someone to be an example of how doing what you love can be rewarding and that you can accomplish anything by working hard and being committed.

So, I'm back. And I am more than looking forward to working with some amazing women and creating more beautiful images like these.
